Regarding renewal of driver's license

Many websites handle procedures for acquiring and renewing a new driver's license, so here I would like to introduce the difficulty of renewing a driver's license in Corona.

In the first place, obtaining a driver's license requires a written test (Computer-based test) and a practical test, so you need to prepare accordingly. Currently, all license centers near downtown are not open, so I have to go a little to the suburbs.

I decided to go to Chicago North , which is also accessible by bus. Office opens at 9 o'clock, so I thought I could afford to go at 8 o'clock, so when I went with a friend, I was caught in a long line and I gave up on the first day and went home.

The next day, I quit and went to the license center at 7 o'clock, and although it was a little shorter than yesterday, there was already a long line of the same length. Due to a mechanical failure, it took less than 4 hours to finally get a license, and in the morning it all felt like it was crushed.

Being in a long line isn't a social distance situation, and I hope you've been vaccinated, but if you haven't been vaccinated yet, wait until the situation improves a bit. I think it's better.

Details of the day, required documents, directions to Chicago North, etc. are described in detail in the blog , so I would appreciate it if you could refer to it.
