Luncheon Seminar
Online invited Seminar

Study sessions are held about once a month using the conference room and video conference software at Northwestern University. Since May 2020, study sessions have been held using zoom.

The contents are mainly introductions of research of each international student and lectures on special experiments and analysis techniques ( see the luncheon seminar page ). We also invite researchers who are studying outside of Chicago to give a lecture ( see the Invited Lecture page ).

Also, from February 2021, we started a round-reading session every Friday using the book JAMA Guide to Statistics and Methods. We have several participants from research facilities in the United States other than Northwestern, and from Japan, and we are currently studying clinical statistics.

Social gathering & event

Social gatherings are held from time to time among study group groups.

In the summer, in addition to barbecue parties and picnics, we also have sports exchanges such as running.
