1. Call the South Loop Office 800-772-1213

Check the necessary items here.
2. Send the email (il.fo.chicago.loop@ssa.gov) with the required documents (passport and VISA copy, DS2019, I94, employment certificate, etc.)
3. Call back and book a visit date
4. Go to the office on the reserved date and time, submit the application form, and complete the SSN application procedure.
5. You will receive your card within 2 weeks
